Nikolaos Tzifakis<\/strong> (PhD, Lancaster University) is Professor of International Relations at the Department of Political Science and International Relations of the University of the Peloponnese; Research Associate with the Wilfried Martens Centre for European Studies; and member of Balkans in Europe Policy Advisory Group. His research focuses on international relations theory, EU external policies and the Western Balkans. His publications include articles published in journals such as Cambridge Review of International Affairs<\/em>, Conflict Security & Development<\/em>, Ethnopolitics<\/em>, European Foreign Affairs Review<\/em>, Global Society<\/em>, Journal of Contemporary European Studies<\/em>, International Journal<\/em>, Journal of Southern Europe and the Balkans<\/em>, Problems of Post-Communism<\/em>, and Southeast European and Black Sea Studies<\/em>. In 2008, he was awarded the Marcel Cadieux Distinguished Writing Award<\/em> for his co-authored article with Professor Asteris Huliaras that was published in International Journal<\/em>. He recently co-edited (with Florian Bieber) the book The Balkans in the World: Linkages and Relations with Non-Western Countries<\/em> that was published in 2020 by Routledge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
